Dissected Demon Multiplayer Level

  • Year: Summer 2023

  • Role: Solo Dev

  • Engine: Unreal 4

  • Concept: A Multiplayer Map where you fight in a dissected demon

  • What is it? A Free-for-all, First Person, Unreal tournament map where you fight inside of a dissected demon in space


  • Process:

    • For this project, I wanted to revisit Unreal Tournament as I had fun making a multiplayer level for it in the past


    • While this level had a very basic sketch for its paper map, most of the design ended up coming from messing around in the engine for a while, playtesting it heavily, tweaking layouts, and with the core tenet of making sure each building had at least 3 ways to enter each opening


    • While I make this process sound simple, this took weeks of iterating to get it to a point where I am satisfied with it.


    • It still needs assets and weapon placement, but I figured I’d showcase it because it was a good showcase of my level design abilities.
